Feels like after Christmas clearance time at Walmart.
I have several shrade knives both Chinese and American made.
They were all worth the money until I received these.
Schrade should be embarrassed to put their name on these.
The blades are really thin and the sharpened area is extremely thin.

Personally, a cheap blade isn't a good value to me, BUT, if the 8Cr is even halfway decent on these they're a steal for $5/each, and quite a bit more aesthetically pleasing than the $5-$6 ozark trail knives at Walmart IMO.
* That said, steel type is only part of the equation. Heat treatment is actually just as if not more important than the steel type. Properly heat treated 8Cr13MoV can outperform even 20CV if it's heat treatment was botched. Even within that, steels can be heat treated different for different results (such as harder 20CV with better edge retention but lower toughness/impact resistance, or the other way around). Super steels offer less compromise but it still exists. Just because this is 8Cr13MoV doesn't mean it will perform the same as say, the 8Cr13MoV in a Kershaw or Spyderco entry level knife which is fairly decent.
Thanks OP
Lay off the BOLD please.
