Maybe because i don't have kids but I've found my need for disposable batteries has fallen to near zero the last 5 years or so. This would be a near lifetime supply lol.

I've been getting by with a few rechargable batteries for the 1-2 things i need them for.

But seems to be a good price for a name brand battery.

I stopped buying alkaline batteries because they will inevitably leak. The Energizer ultimate lithium ones are more expensive, but they won't ruin your electronics.

Yes, it's b/c you do not have kids. 90% of my battery usage takes place around Christmas and kid birthdays.

Lol I hated the idea of using disposable battery and ridicured my friends of buying them... Then I had my little one, and OMG do everything uses battery... Now I am ashamed of myself but I am also glad they are not playing with rechargable explosives all the time.

Costco/Kirkland batteries are cheaper. How do you compare battery quality/capacity?

This deal is 96 batteries for ~21 bucks...
96?

It's a box of 24 AA and a box of 24 AAA. That's only 48 batteries.

I think you need new batteries for your calculator, 24 + 24 = 48 batteries in this deal, not 96.
