They sell neck fans like these at five below for $10 if you live near one. The five below version has usb charging and 3 fan speeds too

Don't buy it if you have long hair. You hair will get stuck in the fan. It's painful to untangle the mess

i got one to try out. i dont expect much from it.

i have one of the boxes that hang on a lanyard and sucks air in the front and blow it upwards. it works good to a point.

They don't produce much wind and the battery dies quickly when on high becuase that is the only speed where you can feel anything. The ones on Amazon with the 2 fans blowing at your face is much better but they don't have a slick design like this.

I've used something like this at Disney, and here are a couple comments / observation / suggestion.

- this simply blows the air thats around you ( i.e. if the air is warm / hot, u get warm/hot air blown towards u; pro-tip, combined with those cooling towels, it worked much better)
- the one i used had 3 speed mode, and u basically need to balance wind speed vs battery life
- i have the 2.4 mAh batt and i wish it had better batt capacity (they sell 4k-5k mAh on amazon), again u need to decide if the extra batt capacity is worth the extra cost. The 2.4k i used lasted abt 4-5hrs in mostly low speed.
