It's been this price for about a month or so. Still kicking myself for not getting the ~$80 bare tool last month

Oh wow, didn't see that one! That was a great deal.

I saw the Labor Day sale and thought it was recent. Unfortunately I'm in the need of a battery powered circular saw immediately so this will have to do.

I was in a pinch myself and bought a Bosch w 4ah battery at lowes. It's not great but a pretty decent saw w battery ~$100. Probably not nearly what this saw is but I haven't tried it. I love the Makita brushless saw. I would pay the extra for Milwaukee if you are looking for a pro level tool

The 7 1/4 is $250 with a 6 amp in case anyone is interested in that one
