You can apply the code for all variants, the price of $249 is for the barebone version, which means you still need to add RAM and a SSD.
DDR4 memory is quite cheap now and there are many great deals here on SD for SSDs.
It supports both a m.2 as well as a 2.5" SATA SSD. For the RAM you need SODIMM sticks like they're used in laptops.

An 1135G7 w/ 1 x tb4 is 300 USD on aliexpress and has both better single and multi perf:

I think I saw 4800H mini PCs on aliexpress for $400-ish? Not sure how that is for value.

Supports 1 display and where are you finding a 512 gb 2230 nvme for $50?
Ok been camping eBay since I got my deck. They are all from shady sellers.
A new 512 GB goes for $80.
I bet the ones marked "new" are still the same as the $50 ones and just mislabeled. They are also probably pulls.
