Avoid these no brand products. There's other affordable options like wyze, wiz.

Nothing wrong with buying a few cheap smart plugs to test if home automation fits ones lifestyle. TP-Link Kasa series has been on sale a few times in the last couple of months.

Or buying Pre-flashed Tasmota Smart Plugs and skilling vendor locked (closed ecosystem) all together.

I've got several plugs and switches controlled by the smart life app, these outlets look identical.

Solid deal if you use something like Home Assistant amd know these can be controlled through that platform. (Still need to register with SmartLife/Tuya) first and link the API. Good deal for those non essentials you want controlled.
