Just bought ten with a Chase card, we'll see what happens. I don't see why I shouldn't be allowed to buy gift cards with my credit card. I don't expect them to give me points for them, but they can't prevent me from buying them.

You should be able to buy money order (Walmart charges only $1 for money orders) and deposit it in your bank account . Most of the banks allow mobile deposit ( just follow the same process which you follow for check deposit) so you don't even need to go to the bank. I got Visa cards from Xfinity and I was able to deposit that to my Wells Fargo account using this method.

I think it's a joke. Terms state max discount $50, so no more than 10 cards would be discounted.

Careful with Chase credit cards, I am told they are pretty good at identifying quasi-cash transactions and are frowning upon them.

Is quasi-cash defined as buying these cards and then running them through your own payment processor?

Wondering if just buying 10 cards to ration out to a student will run afoul of Chase.
