should i change my plan from simple choice north america for $125 per month ($135 with taxes) for two lines to magenta for $120 per month or magenta max for $140? i believe the magenta prices are for 2 lines as well. i'm always afraid of getting screwed over by these damn plans.

If I still get bill credits for a previous promo (iPhone 12 on us / 2020 Apple Trade P27) and trade in a Total Wireless iPhone XR now, will I keep getting the remaining bill credits for that iPhone 12?

Yes.As long as you not cancelling an number/line.Credits will continue roll on.I have an IPhone Mini and LG Velvet still credits rolling but sold both phones and today got enrolment for 14 Pro using Samsung S22 for trade in.

I have to pay off the phone of the last deal before I can trade in again, right? Would have to do it anyways for selling it I guess.

While I don't know the detail of your simple choice plan, assuming it is standard (unlimited call/text/data with 30gb cutoff or something like that), then you'd be better off with magenta max, 3 lines for $140, all included, truly unlimited 5g data, free netflix etc etc.

Again, you can check with tm rep and ask them to compare benefits

Just got told by a rep over chat that it's supposed to be one eip promotion per line at a time so you could lose existing eip credits if you tack on another promotion on the same line. I'm not sure if I believe the rep though. They could be wrong.

may be if you don't pay off the previous EIP and try to get another promo it might (not sure though). I bought s21 ultra, used for an year and paid off and sold it. but the credits are continuing. I bought one plus and that promo is active now with both credits rolling on same line.

well. i still get the credits and i see them on the bill.. EIP shows that device was paid off early

Yeah I've had the same experience with EIP credits in the past, but they can change the terms at the start of any given promo so I really don't want to jump on a deal unless a rep provides assurance.

That's weird, but as someone mention here maybe they changed the terms recently.I had this without any issues.I also wanted to trade in with credits Samsung S22 for an Flip4 so I had spoke with rep like few weeks ago and they told me everything should be fine with my current EIP's and if I get new one.Now I'm gonna go ask them again, to make sure everything is ok Smilie

I am on magenta 1.0 plan with three lines(2 + 1 free) for 96$. (120 - 24, 20% promo)
If I upgrade to magenta max will I get three lines for 140 - 28, 20% promo and one line free ? (112$)

I think the rule is one EIP per line. But their system does not enforce it. I have many lines have two EIPs on them.

I just spoke with rep, she told me :

Oh nothing to worry this will not affect the current Installment plans on your account.
Rest assure that there is no limit on instalment plan per line.

So I assume I'm ok at this point, if they messed up they will fix it anyway, since she confirmed.I personally never paid off eip before getting new one, they been run out by it self.
