How long have you been with Comcast?

They're like the farking ghosts in Mario. When you're looking right at them, it's $50 for cable TV. Look away for a second and then look back, and it's $54.33. Look away and look back and it's $61.20...

If you call customer service, they're experience above average call volume and will call you back in approximately 75 minutes.
Not true, home internet still capped 1000gb, $30 extra to remove the cap.
for people who wish comcast could screw them over more, here you go

Been using comcast home internet for years now. Currently on 600mbps down for $35 with 2-year contract... The only reason I use comcast home internet is due to their excellent hotspot coverage in the town and many public places.
Hotspot with Red pocket has been my go-to combo since pandemic.

Nice one, you are one of the few XM originals that was started with the X Charge deal. ☺️
They are good phones (in terms of battery life anyway). I am currently using one right now for a spare line. I didn't get the $1 deal though because I joined the first day they let iPhone BYOD, so I paid like $30 or something. That was back when you you didn't get $200 for BYOD and you were just happy they were not making us buy new phones. And it all had to be done in person.

Need at least two lines.
We have 4 lines. I see what the problem was.. I needed to "upgrade" to the latest plan system. It works now.. now have 3 lines, unlimited for only $30/each.. great deal!

Great deal. Comcast gets higher tier access to VZ network so you're basically getting VZ postpaid at a heavily discounted price. Much better than all other VZ MVNOs and cannot even be compared to previous Visible plan. If you're already on their internet it's a no brainer.
How do you know this for fact?

I had 2 unlimited lines on the old plan, went into the chat and requested an agent call me. Immediately got a call back and they switched me to the new plan and even gave me a $20 bill credit for being a long time customer. Couldn't have been easier, and XM has been fantastic for us. Drops bill from ~95 to ~65 a month.

any idea what this plan would be like:

8 lines.
4 lines sharing 1gb
4 lines unlimited.

is it ? 15 +20 +20 +20 +20 =95 +taxes

or

8 lines unlimited.
is it ? 20x8=160 + tax
You need to be on new plan which is cheaper on unlimited. I was on per gig $15 plan since early this year when unlimited was expensive. I moved to newer plan where per gig is still $15 per now unlimited are at $20 for 5 lines onwards. In this new plan, multiline discount works if you have per gig lines. I have 7 lines on per gig and it shows I can upgrade to unlimited at $20 for one line. So it will cost me $20 for 1 unlimited and $15 for remaining 6 per gig + taxes

With the Visible $25 party pay plan, anything else above $25 is not that attractive

I just got off of Xfinity mobile. The customer service was fine, the price was decent, but the actual cell service was wonky. It was nowhere near the quality of an actual Verizon line. Data/calls and voicemail all had issues, not all the time but it was noticeable. I am back on Verizon and everything is working better. Its an ok service if you are on a deal.

My favorite part though is when I bought a phone full price from Xfinity and when I went to switch it they had locked it to their service automatically.
I live in Houston with iPhone 13. I can have full bars and 5g and download speeds are sub 1mbps. I have numerous places here I am unable to load any apps or webpages bc of the absurdly low speeds. This was the same with my X a few years ago. It is really YMMV on if you'll get good speed. I refuse to pay 80+ per line so I deal with it and stay on Wi-Fi as much as possible.

My 1-year contract was about to expire so logged in my account and checked for online offer/upgrades. I went ahead and picked up 600mbps plan for $35 but the online tool did not let me complete my order, so I called up the customer service and asked them to complete my order. It seemed like offers was tailored for my account and could only be ordered online. Customer service executive was not able to see that plan on his side but after back-and-forth email with screen shots, they agreed for that plan.

If this was a while ago, I think those plans are gone Frown
Xfinity seems to be pushing their mobile plans more, so now in my region they offer $20 off 900Mbps and higher internet plan if you have Xfinity Mobile.

I also luckily kept eye on online upgrades before and snagged 600Mbps for $30 for 2 years back in 12/2021. Oddly, my region no longer has 600Mbps plan. Only 75, 200, 300, 900, 1200Mbps. It would be $70 for 900Mbps for me now w/ $20 from active xfinity mobile.

Does this also include unlimited talk and text? What network does that talk/text run on - T-mobile or AT&T?
Xfinity is a Verizon MNVO, similar to
Visible. It is an unlimited plan that throttles after a certain level of usage (not sure what that number is). However Xfinity receives higher priority than Visible, so you may get better connectivity and speeds due to that.

Does anyone know if Xfinity includes taxes in the price or are fees added to this $30? I'm with Visible and am looking to upgrade, but not if I have to pay fees and taxes on top of the $30

Taxes and fees not included.

Xfinity data priority might only apply to the by the gig plans or maybe unlimited plan but 5G devices (like US Mobile priority). The More Info descriptions for unlimited plans don't specifically say if the first 20GB are prioritized but does say "you may be slowed down in times of congestion".

According to /r/nocontract's pinned thread:
Quote :
[Priority data given to ] Xfinity Mobile's Unlimited plan (this requires an additional $20 for their HD Pass which also includes 1080p video streaming). Xfinity Mobile also includes HD Pass (which includes priority data) on 5G devices as well as totally unlimited data when using the C-band and mmWave networks.

Or you could just get Visible for 25 bucks a line on a (party plan) you can just Google one of these party plans with thousands of members and do better than this 30 a month price... Plus anytime you can cut Comcast out of your life it's a double win situation

This is not true — at least in NJ. They had a 1.2TB limit they were trying to implement, but when competition got hot they back off. Says not in "northeast markets."
