If you have no use for the APU/iGPU now or in the future, the 5600x is better though in real-world performance you probably won't be able to tell the difference either way. The big benefit with going APU IMO is that if you get rid of the GPU later, you still have a working computer that could be given to a kid or something or still used for work/school purposes just fine. The iGPU in these things is way more impressive than they were years ago and work fine for casual gaming.

Wait for a 5700x or 5800x deal(you should update your bios now and be ready). Dont get APU if you have a GPU.
