Is Gigabyte's quality comparable to MSI, Evga, or Asus? With falling prices, I might just grab one of the deals, but would prefer to buy from a mfr with better warranty service/build.

Needs to drop more. I'll keep holding. No immediate need right now.

Gigabyte has consistency problems. That being said I don't believe that they specifically make anything other than possibly the fans

my personal two cents is that I will never buy any gigabyte products ever again based upon the problems I've had with them in the past of which there were many

399 would be a fair price at this time.
and that's been generous. keep in mind that the 67xx and 3070 series are supposed to be the sweet spot where they compete for value per frame. the top tier stuff are halo products where the performance per dollar doesn't matter, and would give you diminishing returns.

use techspot 1440p data.
at 580 dollar 6800xt, dollar per frame is about 3.7
at 469 for 6750xt, dollar per frame is about 4.1

so per frame, this card cost more than 6800xt, which completely defied its value proposition.

192 Bit junk card. Get a more powerful card when prices drop even further in Q4. Eth merge has already been initiated, 4 series is about to drop, and TSMC forced AMD and NVIDIA to uphold their contracts for millions of silicon to be delivered.

Should be $350-$375 within 30 days, after The Merge.

I've currently got a rtd 3060 from Gigabyte. No issues with mine. I realize it's a small sample size, but I've been very happy with performance.

This specific cooler design is alright, mid range card. I had this design on a 3080 back in 2020 when any score was remarkable but it has quite a few issues. It has improved since then based on reviews. However this entire generation Gigabyte was the lease favorable AiB due to various poor design and fabrication choices and I personally had bad experience with Gigabyte RMA.

It's an OK card but now that we have choices, you get what I'm saying.

For AMD, I'd stick with Sapphire, preferably Nitro+ line. ROG has a solid line up as well, both Tuf and ROG Strix are fine cards. These brands tend to resell better/easier as well.
