But sure would be nice if you could order for pickup, or their deliverable used selection was more than just the AAA titles.
I held out on being a physical copy person for so long, and in the last year and a half or so I finally caved. Don't get me wrong if I have the opportunity to get a physical copy I absolutely will, it just seems as if they purposely make it more of a hassle.
Get a more streamlined store to store inventory system, make it easy for the customer and spend resources actually promoting that.
I want this company to succeed so badly, I really do. But I don't know how long they can survive on being a Spencer's gifts for niche t-shirts and figurines.
The company's lack of used inventory is multi-faceted- reputation of abysmal trade values, switch to digital etc.
I hope there are teams at corporate working around the clock to buy wholesale used lots as that is where the long term appeal is going to be. With the GME stock pump they realistically have the money to push companies, and users to believe that physical copies are more important because "x" reason, but the route of becoming a watered down strip mall Spencer's gift/Suncoast seems to be their mission.
The sale is 50% off all clearance

Here are a couple example items I picked up: (prices ballpark after discount)
POP Jumbo Super Shredder $10
Razer Cynosa v2 rgb keyboard $28
Halo Mini Nerf Gun $4
Jack Skellington figpin $6
LOL fashion Doll $6
There was loads more.. YMMV
It's a good thing that most stores didn't even label the items clearance so no one really knows. They also tend to leave the stuff up high so a lot of people don't really pay attention. First thing I do when I go to GameStop is to look for stuff that's up on the top shelf.
I got a few stuff for $30-$50 and found out eBay sell it for $150-$300. I might post some of these items for sale to recoup some of my spending money to fund my collectible shopping spree π
Imagine asking the employee to check the price for the items on top shelf and they give you online price. Once they take it down and scan it'll be 1/4 the price. I had the employee told me the item is $199 and with 25% off it's $150. I told them I'll buy it and it turn out to be only $50. I notice most store never bother to update label for items on top shelf and clearance items.
