I highly recommend anyone considering this deal to take screenshots of the deal, cart, checkout, etc. If I didn't have that information last year I would have been absolutely screwed out of $800 that I'm now receiving in bill credits. That $800 was supposed to be gift cards but after days of calling/texting for help I ended up in an Xfinity store where those printed screen shots and a helpful employee were able to at least get me those credits.

An additional reminder, if you want to preorder, you're limited to two preorders at a time. If your order is delayed this can knock you out of their promotional period so CYA with those screenshots of your actual order date/time and the offers at those times!

I don't like eSIM, which I cannot switch SIM to other phone easily anymore.

Absolutely! Benefits of a second e-SIM outweighs the hassle of not having a SIM tray I'd say. Yeah...there will be growing pains this first year or two, I'm thinking, but the rest of the world will follow suit.
But someone mentioned both esims will be locked so you can't keep any additional non Xfinity number on it....

I totally agree. I document any deal, especially when it comes to Comcast/Xfinity.

Device prepayment disqualifies you from the remainder of your monthly credits.
What if you keep the line active on different phone and trade in this one next year for ip15?

I keep gettting "Sorry, looks like we are having technical difficulties. Please try again later." when trying to place the pre order. Anyone else have issues?

Having the same issue. I tried on PC, iPhone, different lines, but the error remains the same. The first two steps of the checkout are fine (shipping and payment), but the review page gives me that error.

I got it last year, it was $300 and you could be on a payment plan for upgrades.

Paid my phone off, unlocked it and sold my 13 pro 128GB for $780 last month. Using my free iPhone SE 2 until I get the 14 pro this year Smilie
To get the $300, did you have to be on an expensive/unlimited plan? If you didn't you got an amazing deal!

I was able to get the order submitted in an incognito window.

Ordered the 14 Pro, $400 off with no trade in is a deal. Monthly credits is no issue. I mean all carriers are doing monthly credits, why are we complaining here about it?
Question: Did they force you to be on an unlimited plan or any plan of choice?

On the deals page it says existing customers upgrading will get a gift card but no mention of that in the fine print. Typical xfinity poor wording in their deals, hoping they update the fine print to gift card for existing users.

Incorrect. If a phone is paid for then they'll unlock it when requested.

Criteria for unlocking your phone
If you need to unlock your Xfinity Mobile phone, so it can be used with another wireless carrier, no problem.

Here are some requirements to be aware of:
The phone must be fully paid off.
At least 60 days must have passed since the phone was activated.
Your Xfinity Mobile account cannot have a past-due balance.
The phone cannot be reported lost, stolen or involved in fraudulent activity.
The phone cannot be active on another Xfinity Mobile account.
Only an account holder, Primary user or Manager may request to have the phone unlocked.
Criteria for unlocking your phone if you're in the military
If you're an active member of the armed forces, you may be eligible to unlock your phone before it's fully paid off.All other requirements above still apply. To unlock your phone before it's fully paid off:
You must either have received orders to deploy outside the U.S. for more than 90 days or received a permanent change of duty station within the U.S.
You must have received the orders after signing up for Xfinity Mobile service.

Please bring your deployment paperwork into a local Xfinity Store or give us a call to securely provide your deployment paperwork electronically.
I was assuming the original poster wanted to keep the phone for 24 months. Yes...of course you can get it unlocked early if you paid the phone off since one now owns it.

The post description:
"Note, Promo pricing requires activation of a new line, number transfer, and paying over 24 months"
is inaccurate.

Promo pricing applies to new lines + number transfer or upgrade of an existing line.

I read somewhere that xFinity's phones are locked for 24 months, even if fully paid, aren't they?
I've paid off phones in the past and was able to unlock early, but that was at least 2 years ago. I have no idea if that's changed.

Also, you can't pay them off early without paying full price because it's issued as credits each month. For those that intend to stay on xfinity mobile, that's not really an issue. Once the 24 months are over, they can make good trade-in phones which we got for mostly free. Or keep as backup.

I'm an existing Xfinity Mobile customer. I already ordered my iphone 14 through Apple. Is there any way that I can still get this credit?
