Paid my phone off, unlocked it and sold my 13 pro 128GB for $780 last month. Using my free iPhone SE 2 until I get the 14 pro this year

Criteria for unlocking your phone
If you need to unlock your Xfinity Mobile phone, so it can be used with another wireless carrier, no problem.
Here are some requirements to be aware of:
The phone must be fully paid off.
At least 60 days must have passed since the phone was activated.
Your Xfinity Mobile account cannot have a past-due balance.
The phone cannot be reported lost, stolen or involved in fraudulent activity.
The phone cannot be active on another Xfinity Mobile account.
Only an account holder, Primary user or Manager may request to have the phone unlocked.
Criteria for unlocking your phone if you're in the military
If you're an active member of the armed forces, you may be eligible to unlock your phone before it's fully paid off.All other requirements above still apply.To unlock your phone before it's fully paid off:
You must either have received orders to deploy outside the U.S. for more than 90 days or received a permanent change of duty station within the U.S.
You must have received the orders after signing up for Xfinity Mobile service.
Please bring your deployment paperwork into a local Xfinity Store or give us a call to securely provide your deployment paperwork electronically.

is inaccurate.
Promo pricing applies to new lines + number transfer or upgrade of an existing line.
Also, you can't pay them off early without paying full price because it's issued as credits each month. For those that intend to stay on xfinity mobile, that's not really an issue. Once the 24 months are over, they can make good trade-in phones which we got for mostly free. Or keep as backup.
