I highly recommend anyone considering this deal to take screenshots of the deal, cart, checkout, etc. If I didn't have that information last year I would have been absolutely screwed out of $800 that I'm now receiving in bill credits. That $800 was supposed to be gift cards but after days of calling/texting for help I ended up in an Xfinity store where those printed screen shots and a helpful employee were able to at least get me those credits.

An additional reminder, if you want to preorder, you're limited to two preorders at a time. If your order is delayed this can knock you out of their promotional period so CYA with those screenshots of your actual order date/time and the offers at those times!

I'm an existing customer upgrading my phone. When viewing the cart, it says I need to transfer a number. I shouldn't have to do that, right?

"You're getting your first monthly device credit today. Additional device credits will be applied if you transfer your number and activate your device within 30 days."

Does anyone use By the Gig plan with multiple lines, and if you exceed 10gb usage, do you switch one of the lines to unlimited to avoid incurring overage?

Check whether the "upgrade" option was selected. By default XM assumes you are adding a line; on the phone page, click on the "upgrade" option, and it should ask you which line you are upgrading.

I did do that and confirmed selection of my existing line. I feel like this is misworded.

This is exactly what I do for my family. I check the data usage the evening before the 1st day of the next month, and change my brother to Unlimited. And then I change him back to By The Gig after a couple days into the next month.

Website still gives the same error after trying multiple browsers, devices, incognito mode. Finally placed an order via phone but order cancelled because they couldn't verify my ID? What is going on…
