Here is something to consider. I'd skip on these because it looks like it'll only accept their own lids. Plastic/silicon lids rip and need to be replaced. I don't see replacements on the website. I'd go with Pyrex or Anchor Hocking. If those lids rip you can easily find replacements. I hope you have a nice day.

fyi, I just bought the Costco 18 piece pyrex glass storage set for like $24 in store. Comes in two shapes and the largest rectangular container is bigger than this. That one is also has like 9k nearly 5 star reviews.

In for two. I get the valid points about not being able to get replacement lids but two things: The glass alone has to be worth the price, and Crate and Barrel aren't fools, there's a reason why they're blowing these out. Secondly it'll make a nice gift for someone just starting out who has nothing.

Checking reviews for this set and some other variations:
- 1 person reported the edge got chipped from nesting them together. The Crate & Barrel response was to not nest them. Uh, like who has space to store all these separately?
- 1 other person reported the locking tab on one of their lids split off at the hinge
- 1 other person reported the hinge on the air vent broke off

So these might not be super high quality, although you'd expect that from normal C&B pricing and reputation.

fyi, I just bought the Costco 18 piece pyrex glass storage set for like $24 in store. Comes in two shapes and the largest rectangular container is bigger than this. That one is also has like 9k nearly 5 star reviews.

I like how the response not to nest the bowls was right next to the image of the bowls nested with each other on the product page. At least it makes sense why they're on clearance.

Great deal and find for the price. However, I prefer rectangular containers because they just fit everywhere easier. Circle containers are nicer to eat from though and share snacks.

I find Pyrex and Anchor Hocking at Goodwill and other thrift stores all the time. Plus a lot of lids to choose from.

Re pyrex: I noticed they have cheaper sets that aren't actually oven safe. Seen them at Target. Something to be weary of when searching for a deal on them.
