Deal History includes data from multiple reputable stores, such as Best Buy, Target, and Walmart. The lowest price among stores for a given day is selected as the "Sale Price".
Sale Price does not include sale prices at Amazon unless a deal was posted by a community member.
Same price at Walmart, from previous deals it was advised to buy from Walmart due to fakes coming from Amazon warehouse . ( the mix their inventory)
I have ordered from Amazon multiple times and only received genuine parts. I think it might be key to make sure you are ordering from the Coway store if ordering from Amazon. But good warning nevertheless.

Unless it ships from Coway it doesn't matter who you buy from. If it ships from Amazon all of their inventory for that product is stored together. Some random seller buys a 1000 units send them to Amazon warehouse to be sold. Mixed in with the bunch Amazon purchases to sell, mixed in with the ones coway sent in. Luck of the draw

I've read that Amazon stopped doing that (mixing all inventory) after they got sued multiple times for selling counterfeits.
<quote>eko427
Also, FYI, the Wirecutter tested these 3rd party filters which performed almost identically to the OEM filters:

2-pack for $44

https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07Z67NG78/</quote>
Thanks for this! I found the link to the test you are referring to. I purchased the same brand Cabiclean filters to replace the ones in our Coway Airmega 400 recently and could not tell the difference from OEM. Good to know that tests seem to show no noticeable difference as well!

https://www.nytimes.com/wirecutter/reviews/best-air-purifier/#flaws-but-not-dealbreakers

EDIT: Ugh, not sure why my browser is messing up formatting of a quote reply
