Yes, and oh man was I first tricked by the stupid marketing trick of "QLED"
I genuinely thought this was OLED at first and got excited
49 inch 3840x1080 is basically like putting a 55 inch 4k tv.on your desk, minus the top half of the screen.
It is also the same as two 27 inch 1080p monitors next to each other.
I prefer my 109 dpi resolutions:
21inch 1080p, 27inch 1440p, 40inch 4k.
34inch 1440p ultrawide
If you have to sit back a bit, or your vision isn't 20/20 I think 92 dpi is totally reasonable:
24inch 1080p, 32inch 1440p, 48inch 4k
Those resolutions might be good for gaming on a larger screen without the newest, best graphics card.
This monitor... If you really want to game in 32:9 aspect ratio but cannot push 1440p to the frame rate you want, this is a niche product.For this price I'd buy a 34 inch ultrawide plus a 27, all in 1440p. Or get a 43inch 120hz OLED. If your heart is set on 32:9... I guess this is a good deal? What game are you playing?
