Same price a month ago. Also SD Staff Influencer Promoted then.

$65 a month before that with a little more mixed reviews. https://slickdeals.net/share/android_app/t/15878464

Supposedly very popular, so can all those people who bought it and have used it for a month weigh in? seems like a couple actual owners chimed in last time but we should have a lot more feedback if prior popularity is to be believed.

for those that bought and returned bc disappointed with performance, were you out the shipping cost?

I bought it last month for $55 and have zero regrets. No keystone so you do have to have a perfect spot for it but its tiny enough where it doesn't get in the way. It really is 1080p native so I get crisp text even in game. The brightness, I don't know what to compare it to, but it's definitely bright enough in a full dark room. In the daylight yeah you won't see much. All in all, a great little projector especially for the price.

Got it last time around when it was the same price and have no ragrets, especially for the price point. I'd say you're definitely getting more than what you pay for. Highly recommended!

Yes, this one doesn't have built in battery. It needs to be plugged in. Cheapest native 1080p unit with built-in battery is probably Wemax Dice (I believe wemax and wewarch are same company so as Formovie) which is significantly more expensive than this unit (for now $380) but battery last about hour and half. It is definitely useful but nowadays battery life on portable projectors are not great. Hope they come up with bigger battery installed in unit in future (considering most of movies are 2hrs long)

There is absolutely no way in... well, you know... that this thing is 12k lumens, especially for its size and price. 3k lumens 1080p projectors run in the hundreds of dollars range...

I got it the last go around. Also no regrets. If the room is dark enough, it can really make for a cool movie night. Very crisp picture.

Like others have said, because there is no keystone feature, you need the projector a bit higher. I've watched a few movies and a tv shows with it. Probably totaling 10 hours use so far.

The only issue I noticed was there was some delay with the sound when I was casting my phone. So now I just use the HDMI port with my laptop attached to it and there's no issue that way.

It's fairly quiet as far as operating noise. I've told myself a few times while watching a huge movie on the wall laying in bed with a bowl of popcorn, "this was a good investment". It's just a different experience when the picture is that big, feels like the theatre.

There are moments when I wish the picture was brighter, but I've seen much worse.

Thanks. I guess this unit only take 110v, so I can just plug in a power bank. Wondering what is the power rating on this unit. Maybe some type of portable converter

It's also just a wee bit suspicious that the ANSI Lumens is listed as 150, while Lumens is listed as 12,000.

Any thoughts on how this would do against a garage door outside for evening/nighttime movie watching?

Also got one last time. Not at all a bad projector for $55. One thing I dislike about it that's pretty specific to my use case and is probably not an issue for most is that the USB/SD video player does not appear to have a repeat feature. I bought this projector for Halloween for projecting zombies onto sheets that are hanging in front of our bedroom windows, so a repeat feature would have come in handy. Perhaps this will come in a FW update, though I probably should not hold my breath.
