The only issue is no real keystoning and the way the unit is designed its meant to sit flat. So you have to raise it to the height needed for where you want it projected. Not a quick thing to setup on-the-fly if you want to maximize clarity and low distortion.
....that said, of you want a movie night and willing to figure out the best placement for dirt cheap - this is it.
Made a follow-up post with confirmation of specs.
And here is one in darkness: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j12bnuU
As for the naysayers in this thread...What the ever loving **** are you doing in a 55 dollar projector thread? You obviously only think projectors have one use case and thats to be brighter than the sun. Since your view is so effing narrow, I can't fathom what your minuscule brains thought they would find in this deal, but it's pretty apparent you're insane.

Setup photo shows me using this unit.
Example is showing the image in action (well, it is paused )
1080p image shows it displaying the exact 1080p image as intended with vertical lines clearly alternating black or white, pixel to pixel.
720p down-converted image showing the blending of lines to make black to grey instead of black to white.
Compare those projected images with the actual 1:1 supplied here. Again, for those in the back. If this projector was native 720p, it WILL NOT be able to produce the alternating black to white vertical pixels, but it does because it is NATIVE 1080p.
Sure its not tack sharp like whatever monitor you are using, but the NATIVE 1080p is there, the size is small, it's clearly able to be usable and it is (was) $55...what the hell more do you people want?
I have a pro-tip: If a sub $150 projector will never have the performance you want, then stop making yourselves look like fools going into a sub $150 projector post complaining it doesn't perform to what you need. Plenty of people only need the performance this has and you crying it can't be used as the centerpiece to your home theater is laughably embarrassing for you to... uh, pun intended, project.
😉
Because it's portable and you can take it outside.
A battery isn't a requirement for portability, the ability to be easily carried or moved is a requirement for portability. Which this does perfectly.
You can carry and move it wherever you like easily but if you want to use it outside you need an extension cord.
seems cool to have a switch out steam deck with this

Certainly there are folks that will use a better tripod with movable head, but for folks without, its just another expense that makes this thing not as cheap as they hoped.
And just for posterity... I don't expect more for 55 bucks. I listed the con even if its slight, because it is a con.
Bwahahahahah!!!
Not the same as ANSI lumens, I think. Probably 12k from the source of light, not what's projected on the wall?
I have it on our night stand projecting to the ceiling with desktop speakers plugged in, it's so awesome watching movies with our little baby.
There was lag when air playing so I opted to go the chrome cast route.
It's a powerful little unit but yes, it has to be dark to enjoy.
