Anyone think it'll go lower than this price? Seems like it at BF 2025 prices

In for one. Chase Sapphire Reserve 10x points using Paze makes it sweeter (points could be worth over $100 when used for chase travel)

I bought this during last round of sale but could only get 1 drive, set it up and now waiting to get a deal in 2nd drive and set it up as sync, I am not going to do raid since I just need 2nd drive as backup in case 1 fails. With raid it just copies errors to 2nd drive too. If I can find 1 or 2 drive on sale I might do a remote sync since Best way to prevent data loss is to keep a copy off site.
Synology Photos is fine replacement for cloud storage but it's no Samsung Photos or Google Photos or icloud. Not smart enough to read on picture text.

Just install immich on docker. I have been super happy and it's a direct Google Photos replacement and free and open source!

I tried and it replicated every image and video to cache and took double the space it should, i had to scrap it. I already invested into synology photos with tags is there going to be a way to migrate off later? Also, I don't recall immich having OCR to read text in pictures like Samsung photos for search.
