the lack or replies just shows how little demand will be left when eth merge happens. i bought this less than 1 month ago because i couldn't wait anymore, knowing fully that the merge will cause a flood of gpu and lower prices everywhere.

but I am still rooting for prices to come down to where they should have been long ago! they for sure sold too many to miners and there will be a flood.

screw this new game of everything is priced higher from now on and that we should just accept it!

Highly recommend looking into the "temperature and fan noise" page on the techpowerup link OP included. Running hot (72 C) and loud (42 dBa) will be a disqualifier for some. The fan speeds run at a rediculously high 2569 RPM on this Zotac 3060 Ti. Competitor (ASUS & Gigabyte) 3060 Ti cards go as low as 58-61 C and 29-33 dBa) while running at 1380-1835 RPM.

How many coins can I mine with this? Missouri is a short trip away.. there are many caves.. do I just smack it against cave walls?

While the slightly faster, but less capable and slow to market 6700 XT makes front page all all the time at this price.

i think there are speculations of a revised 3060 Ti and new 3070 Ti coming soon. nVidia have a huge inventory for 30xx chips that they need to clear. Wait if you can before purchasing this.

Yes, use a downward chopping motion, holding by the PCIe connectors. And wear eye protection, I learned the hard way (don't ask). The double fans are great for air circulation in the mines.
