Same here. Rtings actually did a head to head comparison between this Gigabyte and the C1:

I would consider this if was guaranteed to be $600. Rebates through Newegg have been a crapshoot for me. I've sent in five $15-$20 in the past year. On two of them I got the rebate, one of them responded and claimed I didn't send in the upc code, and on the other two I just never heard anything back.

I moved from a 48" curved Samsung TV to two 32" curved Philips (one 4k, one 1440p) monitors mounted together on one stand. I like the two 32" a LOT more than the single 48" as it is more natural to look left and right rather than up and down. Also, with a 48" monitor, you really want a curved display unless you are sitting really far from the monitor (like 4ft+). I find it hard to go back to a 32" or larger flat display after getting used to curved panels. Just so much easier on the eyes.

Doubtful. Read the rebate info. Only $80 difference without the rebate so not really worth it anyway.

You're better off buying a bigger OLED screen TV instead (e.g., 55"+) which incorporates most, if not all the features included in this "gaming monitor".
Ah yes. Only double the price.

Had anyone moved from 2 1440's to 1 large display like this? I have 2-24" 1440's (100hz) that are almost 8 years old now and since it's quite hard to find that in a 24" footprint now, wondering if this would be better off an upgrade.
Currently running a 3070 ti and game.
I moved from a 32"1440p + 27"1440p to this displays little brother - the Aorus 43"4K 144hz QLED, and I wouldn't go back. You'll want a fairly large (deep) desk though since this is a flat display. For my 43", I've got a 30" deep desk, and the 3-4 pixels in the corner I have to adjust my head to see. Probably not as big of a problem with OLED, but also this is bigger, so you'll want to sit further back regardless. Point is - don't use this with a writing desk, or with a countertop re-purposed as a desk. Get a desk that is over 30 inches deep, preferably more like 36.

Well, on a bright note, the shipping seems to be fast at least. I ordered it at the same time I posted this, and it says it will arrive on Thursday
Same for me, I ordered today and it says it should arrive tomorrow (thursday)

Can someone who owns the monitor comment on the multi-monitor support? Can it support 4 monitors simultaneously with 1920x1080 each? If it only supports two monitors, what would be the resolution of each? Will you get two 27" 1902x1080 in that case?

I got this about a week ago.

I'm very happy with it

1-picture is great- bright enough, perfect blacks, glossy screen that is the perfect amount of glossy to enhance the picture but not glossy enough that bright reflections mess w it too much. Viewing angles are great, 120hz and gsync motion looks great.

2-kvm is really cool, it allowed me to reduce the amount of clutter on my desk from getting rid of adapters, wires, hubs, etc.

3-decent but not great speakers

there are definitely some cons.

1- I am worried about burn in. I use this for work and for gaming so I tend to take a couple of minutes and turn off the monitor if I have a bunch of code windows up to alleviate this

2-the Kvm can be flaky once the computers hibernate

3- it's HUGE. I had it about 2.75 feet away and it was too big. But I was able to wall mount it so I have gained a few inches and it's pretty good now.

Overall if I get the rebate I'll be quite happy. Being huge and 4K provides a lot of flexibility vs an ultrawide.

Bear in mind I upgraded to this from a dual monitor setup with 1x32" 1440p and 1x27" 1440p

From the reviews, it looks like it will take two or three monitors before you get one that isn't damaged in shipping.
Got mine - first one works great, no issues.
The text does look a little off on windows, perfect on mac. Not a deal breaker for me as is. My desk fits it fairly well too - probably never use the entire screen at once for work though.

The auto brightness is a little interesting so far, mostly I wish I could set the 'max brightness' for the smaller 10% windows, as its actually the brightness of the smaller windows getting too bright for me causing the biggest issues. Basically, I have to make sure I have a few bigger windows open to keep the brightness of the screen lower, because the smaller windows ramp up in their white value and can burn out your retinas once you get used to the lower brightness (around ~40 brightness on the monitor right now)

I run dual 32" curved Dell 1440's under an ultra wide 35" curved 21:9 monoprice 3440x1440. Setup takes a lot of space but I love it.

I agree with you on this. I've got 2 of the 43" versions and I've had 3 replaced because they arrived with broken LCDs (and no physical damage on the boxes). Also one had a ton of dead pixels

There are no other companies making oled other than samsung that is right only lg and samsung makes oled 48inch and I believe gigabyte use lg panel

It is a bang for the buck guys

I'm waiting for the C2 42" to come down in price. I'm in no rush.

48" is too darn big for me. Even 42" is quite large. A 38" would be perfect!

I have a 32" 4K LG, and the DPI is 130+, which makes everything a bit too small.
