Never get the Amex and have two cards. Constantly adding to try and get it, but no luck.

That sucks. I got the AMEX deal last year and was able to buy a laptop. I just checked my AMEX Blue Cash Preferred and its there too.

seems like a really nice touch screen attached to a basic budget laptop.

quad core, 8gb ram, 512gb ssd, all low end basic features.

The XPS 13 is not a budget laptop ffs...if you only care about specs, buy some crappy piece of plastic with an i7 and RTX 3060 for the same price.

Ok so it's a cool, 4k touchscreen in a precision slim and light form factor, built with those 2 things in mind and leaving power a distant third.

Can we at least agree the original msrp is crazy?

This would be better with a Ryzen 6000 series.

I believe this exact model is listed back to back if you search xps 9305, is there a difference between the two? Is there a non touch version of this?

Get on a chat with Amex and sometimes they will manually add the offer. I have got such offers a few times but YMMV. The chat representative usually tends to give it to 1 card if you have 2 or more cards.

If device order code is different, there will be a difference. If same code, obviously, it would be the same laptop.

Coupon expires 11/6 and seems to work on specific items only, including accessories. I had some expiring Dell rewards and was able to apply the coupon to an active pen to get a few dollars off.
