Nice find OP.

Reviewing specs, this light requires mains/wired power and there is no built-in motion sensor.

Hue lights use Zigbee, so neither wired or WiFi for networking.

It does not. You would need one of these [amazon.com] (unfortunately you recently missed a sale) or some way to trigger it externally via Home Assistant, Homekit, etc. The cleanest would probably be Hue's sensor, though.

meh....flood light without motion sensor.

Depends on what you want it for. I don't care about the motion sensor, I just want something that comes on when I want (dusk to dawn, or later during holiday seasons when I have decorative lights). It's highly configurable in that regard.

Hue sells a motion sensor. Not saying this shouldn't include it but it's part of the ecosystem at least. A lot of people will own at least one already if buying this.
