My boys and I really enjoyed these movies. I'd recommend.

Great series, I remember being slightly disappointed by #3 but only because the first two were so damn good.

Rise: IMDb 7.6/10, RT 82%
Dawn: 7.6, 91%
War: 7.4, 94%

I like Dawn (the second movie) the best. Online consensus in some forums suggests most people prefer the second or third movie with a smaller number preferring the first one. Rotten Tomatoes has the third movie scoring highest from critics, but the second movie scores highest from an audience perspective. All are good though!

On Amazon for $45, it includes the three new movies in 4k and the six older ones on blu-ray. It includes digital copies (in HD) of all nine.

50 Years Of Planet Of The Apes: 9-movie Collection [4K UHD] [amazon.com] or BestBuy [bestbuy.com]

I bought it, redeemed the digital codes, and watched the 4k discs. I'm now ready to sell the discs since I'm unlikely to rewatch them.
