I'm not a mountain biker per-se, but generally liked mountain bikes growing up. Could this get by as a road bike too? I'm talking a few miles around town, nothing crazy.

Great bike for the money. I bought one of these when they came out in 2020 and rode the hell out of it, only upgrading as necessary (hydraulic brakes were within the first month) until earlier this year. Fork is heavy, wheels are heavy, tires are heavy. Now the only thing left factory Schwinn on the bike is the frame, everything else has been replaced. Put about 1k miles on the bike with just the brakes and crankset upgraded though.

I have had my eye on this bike for awhile. At this price point it's a steal. Lot of bang for the buck.

Well, after checking what people around here wants for USED beater bikes on craigslist and facebook (OMG!!!), I'm in because eren after I upgrade pedals and brakes etc I'm still WELL AHEAD $$$ wise.

To you more experienced riders... I am 6'2" with 34-35" inseam....hope this is a good size for me. I would be using it as a road bike with some light trails. Does it sound like it would meet my needs ? I dont ride much at all.

I see you guys suggesting gotta be 5'10" at least to get this. I am a touch short of 5'10"! 176 cms! Do you guys suggest I get this or not?

I'm 5'7" and I fit fine. Got 350mm seat post for $10 on Amazon and I can flat foot on one side
