I weigh ~160lb and ride as fast as traffic and the scooter allow—max at 19mph and average 13–15mph overall. My 8 miles use just over half the battery, so expect range more like 15 miles than the promised range if you use sport mode.
The rubber deck was slightly dirty and the LCD screen had scratches but nothing worth stressing over. The tires also needed to both be pumped. Came out of the box with 75% charge and only 7.4 miles (12km) driven on the app odometer. Considering new ones go for 900-950ish, I'd say it was money well spent.
Currently at ~50 miles with no issues and always hits 19/20mph when above 50% and then usually 17/18 mph when below that. Also if anyone's interested, mine came with the 2nd generation motor, not the first (confirmed with serial number on rear hub motor).
Also bought this cable https://www.amazon.com/dp/B000FHQTGW to stick in my bag for charging if needed (never had to use so far, but it's nice to have an extra).

pros
- it's one of the lightest weighting scooters in the market
- The way it folds allows the scooter to be very compact. It takes minimal space and I can still sit down on the subway without blocking people
- built solidly and uses solid rubber tires. So far I haven't had any mechanical or battery issues. I would still avoid pot holes, deep cracks, or large debris though.
- The folding locking / unlocking mechanism is pretty quick and allows you to fold / unfold the scooter very quickly. It also shuts off the scooter when you're folding it up.
cons- Not very ergonomical. While it's light weight and folds compactly, it's hard to find a place to grab the scooter comfortably. I push it like a wheelbarrow but lifting it up can be cumbersome. Also the unfolding handle is position in the worse place and you can easily
- Not worth paying above 500. This scooter isn't very fast (12ish mph limit), has no shocks, and has limited battery range. I am fine with a lack of these features but I wouldn't have bought this scooter if it costed more. Also the lack of these features might not be acceptable for others
I don't mind taking the subway and I wanted a low costing scooter that is lightweight and decent enough for a last mile commute to replace taking a bus. To make carrying it easier, i bought ski carrying straps. So once i'm in the subway, i can carry it like big messenger bag or wheel it around.I wouldn't get this scooter if you need to replace taking the subway, longer journeys, or through more rougher patches of road / terrain.
