The frothing wand is removable and dishwasher safe. There is no water tank or piping for it. It is a glorified whisk.

Seems like a good deal. Shipping is $5 for me since I'm not a plus member.

Looks like its slightly different as the sams club version has the specialty button that the Walmart's doesn't and no frother

Can't imagine the frother on this being very good; not steam quality anyway. Somewhat dangerous at this pricepoint as well for anyone not well versed in cleaning a frothing wand. Our current Ninja isn't even dead after what must be 4-5 years now of daily use and cleaning, but I'm still considering this just as a refresh. Would never buy another maker again after solid performance out of these machines.

Very similiar but not the same. The one at Walmart does not have the frother attachment that you can use to whip your cream for frappuccinos or whipped toppings. It also does not have the setting that allows you to make cappuccinos or expressos (yes I know this is not like a real expresso machine but it does give you a strong shot).

It's about what people don't do, which is clean properly. You don't want that kind of bacteria building up inside the connections or water tank. The tip is able to be cleaned, but without purging after a froth and cleaning every few months the milk can buildup inside.

I bought the cmo3 ninja refurb from woot ($64) and a $10 frother from TJ Maxx. Use them every day. Wasn't a coffee guy before but now I don't know how I got through the day with out that machine. Also I like using the frother to mix other stuff. Like I just used to to mix up my pre workout lol

I've had this for 1 year. Pretty good machine! Frother is whatever. Might use it once a month. Machine has a BOLD option that I use every day when I make half a carafe.

OH, wow. . .then I wouldn't even bother using it lol. I'll just wait for this one to finally die and get another without such useless attachments.

The frothing wand is decent... If you've never used another frother. My ex bought a standalone that also heated the milk and it worked significantly better. Great coffee maker though if you can get over the extremely plasticy build. They put nice touches like the fact you can see the full line from the top if the lid is on.
