It's Cuban coffee. It's the #1 brand of coffee amongst the majority of Hispanics in the NY, NJ, FL areas.
That being said, it's a dark flavor coffee (being espresso and all).

I drink mines with sugar & light cream, or coffee creamer powder. Sometimes I add cinnamon powder. I think it's a great cup of strong coffee.

How does this compare in flavor to Peet's Major Dickisons? Is it worth giving it a try at this price? TIA!

While this might be good coffee, the price per pod is 'spensive. Pass for me.

OMG.. I was using 72 pods in my calculation. LOL

Doing the correct math ;-) I was able to order them and they came out to 30¢ a pod.

Haven't had the Major Dickisons to compare. However, I think this is absolutely the best dark roast coffee…period. It's an "espresso-style," but obviously in a K-cup it's not espresso. It's a bold coffee with smooth and balanced flavor but not super smoky like a French roast. Came highly recommended from many friends and now Cafe Bustelo is pretty much all my family drinks. Great price, too. Thanks OP!

Last time I got these, they were expired. I couldn't tell the difference from my other Bustelo Kcups but just an FYI.

My last batch of bustelo had some cups that liked to dump significant grinds in for some reason. We get these or the publix brand espresso, and the publix ones never have done that. So I dunno. Not too frequent but I gotta bust out the ol sock filter and strain the strained coffee.

Still my favorite flavor so I'm in for another pack. Thx

History. Gregorio Menendez Bustelo (born June 21, 1894) traveled from his native Spain to Cuba as a young man, and moved to the United States in 1917. He founded the Café Bustelo coffee company in The Bronx, New York in 1928.

It is a normal pod with strong flavor. You get the exact same amount of water that you normally get. I use 12-oz of water for this pod.
