Unless I'm missing something, it looks like HD patched the regional pricing discount. If your local HD isn't selling for the cheaper price, you can't 'hack' it for OP's price in this deal.

I had the $148 price in my cart, but when I tried to check out for delivery or local pick up, the hacked price jumped to $200. ymmv

I don't have any M18 tools. If I were to select the 6.0 HO Battery Pack for my gift, would $249 before tax still be a good deal if I don't return the battery? I don't know if I'd get more M18 tools down the road, so keeping the battery pack may or may not be a smart choice.

$100 for a high output 6.0 is a decent deal. They retail for around $170 now and the mid torque tool only is around $250 alone. So the mid torque, 2 x cp 2.0, charger and HO 6.0 is a good deal for $250.

No, the deal is only for the 3/8th anvil. Torque test channel did a video and actually showed the 3/8th having more torque than the 1/2. However, if you only have 1/2 sockets or usually work with the higher end of fasteners that are harder to get in 3/8 sockets it makes sense to wait for a deal on that.
