I've had this for a while, if you have dogs or a lot of dust I wouldn't recommend, or if you suck up a lot of chunks (like with kids) there are a lot of bends that things get stuck in. When it wasn't clogged it worked well.

No.

I've had this since last Black Friday when it was $99. Besides the fact that it is HEAVY — it's been outstanding. No loss of suction. Easy to clean. Both filters replaceable.

I have 3 cats and 2 dogs, one of which is a German shed-perd. I'm buying a second one for upstairs for I don't have to carry them back and forth.

I agree with you - for the price it's okay, but there are better Shark models out there if you are a pet owner. This model is very basic and only includes one accessory tool (which is actually nice but easily falls apart if dropped on a hard floor). The fill line on the canister is low compared to other models as well. The balance on this vacuum is a little annoying too - though it is relatively heavy, the whole thing easily falls over when using the wand attachment. Not the smoothest steering either, however, it has decent (but not the greatest) suction. No headlights either, but many vacuums are no longer being made with them. For the price it's perfectly fine, but a bit unremarkable for a Shark.
