If there's an option to pay directly through eBay and not paypal I'd recommend doing that to be safe. Most of the times these offers rely on being automatically triggered so if the charge shows as paypal it might not trigger or even qualify, even if it's for a ebay transaction.

got it but this kinda sucks they are forcing you to buy from u.s. since the equivalent is usually a few bucks cheaper from china so it works out the same in the end

I don't know what your lifestyle is but it seems like you've done your research. If you're already using Grubhub and/or Uber then this card is a no brainer since you're getting credits that equals up to $240.

That effective makes the AMEX Gold's annual fee $10. But when you see offers such as this one, you're actually making profit from all the AMEX coupon savings. AMEX Gold is also a metal credit card which is awesome and feels more premium than plastic cards.

Personally, I love the card.. the user interface for AMEX is the best in the business. Easy to use, non-bloated and AMEX customer service is top notch. Just make sure you have a backup card (MasterCard/Visa) in the event that the place doesn't accept AMEX -- most places do accept though!
