If there's an option to pay directly through eBay and not paypal I'd recommend doing that to be safe. Most of the times these offers rely on being automatically triggered so if the charge shows as paypal it might not trigger or even qualify, even if it's for a ebay transaction.

Got it on more than one card. Does Ebay allow you to split payments across multiple cards?

Added: Apparently the only split payment would be Ebay credit balance combined with a credit/debit card but Ebay has (temporarily?) suspended selling their own gift cards which could have been used to build up the former.

Confirmed multiple items total over $15 qualified... i bough 1 item $9 and another $7 and got the amex notice that promo applied... i did in same transaction... not sure about separate transactions

I'm trying to buy a 90% silver Barber half dollar on Ebay but it appears that you can't use an Amex card on Ebay to buy any of them. I can use Visa, MC, and Discover but it always says the Amex cards are "Not Accepted". What the heck?

Got it on my Delta Platinum card. Great timing as I wanted to buy some parts on eBay. ✌🏼

Update: Bought a $70 item and got Amex offer confirmation email. Also used cashback site. Hopefully this will stack and will earn a little bit more change.

I also got the cashback. Worked out fine.

depends on how/why it was cancelled; if you never pay your bills or you commit credit card fraud, you likely won't be able to get it back.
