it okay so ive had it for a few hours, pretty big as its 16'. it does get a little warm around 82c when playing WoW, or even league, i average around 250fps on WoW on high settings, i forgot to look at league fps average, but im sure its up there like wow, the screen is pretty bright, but i personally dont like it super bright so maybe that might defer from other people. the cooling is not bad has left side vents and vents in the back, also vents to suck air in under it, so if you get like a cooling pad or something to raise it up a little im sure it will be fine. ive been gaming for the last few hours and its running strong. not bad for a 1k laptop.

What's wrong with a 1070 ? I wouldn't think this would be 60% performance increase over that card but if it is,then yes that is worth the upgrade.

Using a high hz monitor? If not probably just set an fos cap
