Just bought this but in white, way better than spending over $1k.
The quality is really damn good and it's pretty hefty for the price. Pretty straight forward to install, hardest part was putting the top piece on (aligning the screws and pegs). It does heat up, and comes with a remote. The fireplace is not thick and you can store or hide things in the back. It comes really nicely packed with lots of Styrofoam.

If you get it with Amazon and you can have it delivered in a specific room for only $20, or if you just need help carrying it upstairs. Weighs and supports up to 120 lbs.

Tip: Don't over-tighten the screws, and make sure to keep screws loose until everything is in place.

So you can get "tv too high" comments when you post a pic of your setup on the hometheater sub Reddit.

As someone who had a fireplace tv stand don't get it. Not only does it use a lot of electricity but it will kick out your outlet. Be prepared for it to stop working because of course it gets hot and burns the wiring inside. Also if your like most people you will probably have it plugged in your outlet and have a power strip for the rest of your electronics in the other....with the fireplace on be prepared for either your outlet burning or the saftey switch to kick the power strip out....either way whatever happens there's a 50% chance your TV starts having problems. One of my tvs kicked out and wouldn't turn back on....replaced it with one in my basement and it started to turn off and on. What fixed the problem....never used my fireplace again.

Guys, I hope I'm not out of place saying this - but if it destroyed all the electronics in and above it's 'fireplace' like some of you suspect, would it be selling at Walmart?

I feel like there would be a whole lot of lawsuits if that were the case.

This is my first reply in what feels like an entire year. I had to say something because of all the fighting.
I don't see complaints from verified purchasers. Just people whose opinions exceed their knowledge.

These TV stands are always this price tbh. This is like the low versus some other ridiculous mark up for shitty garbage for 500-800 bucks. There is no true Amazon deal anymore. It's mostly drop shippers deciding if they want to sell some Alibaba shit for regular price plus 25% markup or regular price plus 50% mark up because people would pay for it anyway. These are still generally not cheap for garbage quality stuff even at their low price points.

Also it's an electric heater with a fan so it's really for cosmetic reasons why you want this. That's why it won't destroy any electronics. It's like would you break your iPhone if you put it on top of one of those tower looking electric heater fan from Walmart or Costco? Of course not, these things are really weak. But then It's gonna be pretty terrible if you want to use it as a fireplace.

Yes these can look cheap but some of the better ones don't. They tend to cost more though. Go in store and compare the ones at Big lots, cheap looking in my opinion, to the ones at Value City Furniture.

This specific example is ugly as sin, but fireplace TV stands aren't the abomination some people in this thread are making them out to be.

They use a fan-forced heater, which means the heat is blown forward into the room. Your TV or the electronics in the stand are not going to be overheated.

The heater can be turned off independently of the flame effects, which is nice when you live in Florida, it's Christmas, and it's still 90F outside.

About 36% of American households are renters, so installing a real fireplace isn't always an option.

These have got to be the tackiest thing ever. As if putting a TV over a fireplace didn't look dumb enough, they've invented a TV stand with a fake fireplace in it so you can put your TV above a fireplace. Amazing.

Do they have one with a microwave oven insert?

edit: Actually I'd rather have a TV stand with a built-in air fryer & toaster oven combo instead of a microwave or a fireplace. That way I'll have a source of heat and I'll be able to keep an eye on my chicken tendies that are cooking while I watch Dallas reruns.
