i usually buy just about anything that's a good sale on amazon which i'm a sucker for. but i'm just trying to see if or when i would ever have a use for this and it's definitely not something i want to carry around for protection since the chance of me stabbing myself would greatly increased if i was to haul this around.

Just take an old redwood picnic table and stand it up on its side 90 degrees. The one side of legs will support it very sturdily and stable. Take chalk and draw a true to size full human silhouette on it. Now you have a portable 6-7 foot high and 3-4 foot wide knife throwing target surface for cheap to free. I grew up with throwing knives as a kid and this is what I did and it works perfectly.

I've got a set of three of these knives and they are great for the money. 3Cr13MoV is a softer stainless steel, which will help them absorb the shock of being thrown. If you are expecting more for the money you probably shouldn't have throwing knives. And it won't mater if you break one at basically $1 each. These are for having fun learning to throw knives, not self-defense. If you plan to run around with them as your EDC, please don't. Be smart and don't hurt folks or throw at live trees or animals.

I have a board that I use to catch pellets when I'm shooting my pellet rifle in my backyard. Can put a target on it, and toss some knives at it. Good for a bit of fun. Big Grin
