$20 cheaper than previous deal plus possible resale of additional Visible Prepaid Sim Kit.

Select active later. "Hot offer" for prepaid card should populate. Select the $30 Card and the phone is now $50 cheaper than listed price.

After all is done, your checkout amount should total $189.99 + tax.

Either keep the Visible Card to use for a month or resell under face value for quick sale giving you even more savings on the phone.

Not sure how long that Hot Offer will be available so good luck.

Ouch. I bought this phone several weeks ago on the deal Amazon had for $209. For anyone considering the phone, there was a lot of prior discussion about how it will only be undated to Android 11. The phone I was using at the time was Android 8 so I was happy. Some people need the latest and greatest.

This Moto model works fine for me overall. The call volume seems to rise and fall but that may be the way I am holding it. I don't make or receive many calls so I'm fine. I guess the 5G does something since I see it most of the time at the top but, again, I am OK. My Internet connections are definitely faster than the phone I was using. The screen colors are nice as are the few pictures I have taken. Obviously, I am not someone totally immersed into being cellular active 24/7 so my take on the phone could be very different from someone else's.
This is a pretty nice phone for the price for someone who doesn't need a high end device but wants key features such as a headphone jack, SD Card support, some waterproofing (not as robust in that area as some modern phones though), a giant battery, and a 4K screen. The screen is LCD though rather than LED so it has a backlight. Another nice feature is a rear mounted fingerprint sensor rather than an on-screen sensor. These generally work better in my experience and are easier to find by feel without having to look where you are putting your finger.

It's a very similar device to the Samsung Galaxy A52, except that Motorola allows you to unlock your bootloader for rooting (I wish Samsung would fo that with all their devices).

This phone also has really great band coverage so you should be able to use it on just about any network in the US in most locations and get at least decent LTE service.
You gotta submit that complaint to Best Buy then. I'm sure they'll log it away with the other Karen suggestions. lol

I placed my order on the night of the 21st. The phone I received at noon on the 23rd. After some use now, I am satisfied with it so far. It's good enough.

I also use mint. The phone cannot be set up automatically. But I successfully used 5G after setting it up one by one according to the content in this URL. When I turn on data, there is a 5G on top of the screen. I didn't test the speed.
https://www.mintmobile.com/setup/android/

The system is indeed quite old. The operating system that comes with it is Android 10. And my last phone was a Samsung S10. Using Android 12 system. On the 21st, my S10 suddenly broke and I couldn't get into the system, so I bought this phone for emergency use.

Fortunately, this phone can be upgraded to Android 11. After the upgrade, I feel that the system is not so outdated. But there are still some differences compared to Android 12.
Also, it is on the list of Android 12:
https://www.motorola.com/blog/post?id=387
Motorola One 5G ACE is expected to receive Android 12.

The phone screen is indeed a little too big. I'm used to the S10 and I can't hold it that well. But the speed of the phone is still good enough, and there is no lag. The scene of this phone should be inferior to Samsung, but it is not obvious. The biggest thing that makes me feel awkward is that the order of the three buttons at the bottom is reversed from that of Samsung. I checked and it turns out that Samsung's buttons are reversed, not that this phone is reversed. So I turned off the three buttons at the bottom.

The charging speed is a bit slow, but it is also related to the size of the battery. Phones are thicker. Fingerprint recognition is pretty sensitive. The rear camera is pixelated when you zoom to the highest. Also, the camera's software looks a bit outdated.

What do you think ROM stands for?

Wait…what? I know plenty of PCs that have 128gb memory. My home unit has 64gb and my colleague's has 128gb.

Lots of video editors or ML-based testers have higher memory.

I'm looking for a 4in tablet with GPS, typical android games, email, nextcloud client, local music and audiobook playback, that can make a voice phone call maybe 4 times a year. We don't sms or text. Don't want a monthly plan. Wifi is almost everywhere. 32GB of onboard storage is fine provided a 2nd MicroSD 64GB+ can be added. Just started hitting internal space issues on a 5 yr old 16GB [Fixed that for you] device.

I typically use a Fire 8in tablet, but the lack of GPS when traveling isn't good. During travel, like to buy a 1GB data plan for 14 days of use. When hiking, the tablet is a bit too large.

Options? This seems expensive for simple needs.

You have a looooot of options. But, devices in the 4" range are quite rare comparatively nowadays too, haha

Hey guys, so my post was edited by staff to make it look all pretty but you DO NOT have to pick the $45 card to get $50 off the phone. You can also select the $30 card making the phone deal + Visible 1month service (non 5g) only $190, not $205. Then you can resell the Visible SIM Kit if you aren't going to be using it for even more savings on the phone. Just wanted to clear that up.

Not true. Visible has 5g on the 30 dollar plan. Just not UW 5g. Weird they would bundle a Visible sim with this phone since it cannot do some of Visibles 5g bands.

For this deal specifically, it IS TRUE. The $30 card that comes with the bundle specifically excludes 5g while the $45 one has it listed. Read both descriptions on the Hot Offer.

Okay option if you can manage with 64GB of storage, but it seems like 128GB is the new standard of need
Your comment kind of cracked me up. We don't look at memory and realize how much 64 gig is, I don't think. Makes me wonder if my grand kids will be talking about the 16 terabyte is too small for the new Amazon Alexa AI OS they just came out with. Smilie

i get mine tomorrow and will be using it on Mint so I'll see if I have the same issue and report back. Haven't heard any other Mint customer complaints as this is a phone that they sell directly from Mint too. I inquired on the chat and they said as long as its the US Version it should work perfectly. We'll see.
I also use mint. I received the phone yesterday. Although the phone cannot be set up automatically, I successfully started using 5G after setting it up one by one according to this URL:

Copied from Best Buy overview of the product. ***Service on Verizon's 4G LTE and 5G Nationwide Networks. Verizon 5G Nationwide available in 2,700+ cities, and requires 5G capable device in the 5G service area. Thats the 30 dollar plan.

Notice all the " *** "? Its there for a reason.

Contacted them to confirm. They said there is a reason 5g is not mentioned in the $30 plan heading. The $45 plan Guarantees you 50GB of High-Speed data whereas the $30 plan does not. Both are however, "unlimited" and may show as you have connected to "5g" but it looks like its greatly throttled down on the 30 dollar plan.

This is what the rep said:
"On the $30 plan you will most likely toggle between 3g if its still available in your area and 4g. Even if you phone says 5g every now and then, don't expect 5g speeds on the $30 plan. Maybe 20mbps tops"

In all fairness, 20mbps is pretty good for a mobile device unless you are trying to live-stream in 4k or something. More than enough for everyday tasks.

Received phone today and so far so good. Using on Mint. Had to manually set APN as mentioned by some others but only took one minute and then you restart the phone and you are good to go. The instructions Mint text to you are pretty straight-forward. Will report back if I have any issues.

Side note, totally get the "the screen is huge" comments now. lol.

Got the phone yesterday, charged it up to 100%, played with it for a while, put a t-mobile postpaid sim and it connected to LTE / 5G & Wifi Calling just fine. APN settings were automatic. Did some tweaks, turned on some gestures, turned off some other features that I didn't care for and put it on dark mode. Did some asphalt gaming, watched some netflix and youtube, made a few phone calls, sent some texts, listened to FM radio and it handled everything like a champ. Battery life with that 5000mah battery is pretty amazing. As you mentioned, it came with A11 pre-installed out of the box and did three security updates after checking. Lets see when this baby will get A12.

Overall, it was a pretty good value, especially when paired with the Visible $30 kit. I have no use for the $30 kit but it saved me some $ off the phone itself. I will most likely sell it off to any interested party.

Got a free screen protector for it from Verizon and a $10 kickstand / belt clip case from amazon. It's good to go!

From Visibles website.
Q: What is included in the Visible plans?
A: All plans include:
Unlimited data, messages and minutes
Access to Verizon's 5G Nationwide and 4G LTE networks
Unlimited hotspot usage
We're here for you 24 hrs a day, 7 days a week on chat via our website or the Visible app. You can also find us @VisibleCare on Twitter or via Facebook Messenger (@VisibleMobile)

The only difference in the 45 plan is access to Ultra wideband 5g.

Q: How much does the Visible+ plan cost and what's included?
A: The Visible+ plan offers everything the Visible plan has and a bit more, including:
Access to 5G Ultra Wideband and the Premium Network Experience,
Unlimited talk, text and data roaming while in Canada and Mexico,
International calling from the US to over 30 countries and International Texting from the US to over 200 countries.
I dont know what rep you talked to but they siurely was not with Visible. I have had Visible for three years now. Since the change I am on the 30 dollar plan and I DO have 5g. Just not 5gUW the really fast one.Your idea of 3g is laugable. I have always had at least 4glte and have never been throttled or capped. Read Visibles website. All I have said is true. Yours is not.

Now, the fact you think that "memory" = "RAM' is a misunderstanding on your part and your knee jerk downvotes do no one any good.
