JetBlue Plus Credit Card BONUS OFFER: $0 intro annual fee plus spend $1K in 3 months get 80,000 which are worth as much as $1,500 in travel benefits

From NerdWallet: JetBlue points are worth 1.5 cents each which is a baseline value, drawn from real-world data on hundreds of economy routes, not a maximized value. When you pay for your travel with the JetBlue Plus Card, you'll get the first checked bag free for you and up to three travel companions. Without the card, your first checked bag would cost $35, so that's a one-way savings of $140 if you each checked one bag. If your journey is round-trip, that savings multiplies to $280. If your family of four takes two roundtrip JetBlue flights each year that adds up to savings of $560.

After the first year you can keep the points and cancel the card, downgrade to JetBlue Card or pay $99 annual fee and get 5,000 anniversary bonus points (worth $75 in JetBlue travel).

Deal seems to be working fine with any five digits in the promo box on the right top corner of the application, however, here is a code from a JetBlue Flight: 26213
Also, WillP4807 has posted a code but not sure if that too is from a JetBlue Flight. Code: 29191

Not getting any card with an annual fee. To pay to spend your own money is moronic.
It's worth it if you travel more than twice a year on JetBlue. You get the first checked bag free, the fee basically pays for itself.

Applied and they pulled my credit report same day. My credit score is perfect. Got nothing back from them for over a week until i finally got a snail mail letter telling me I had to mail back copies of drivers license, SS card and a utility bill. How moronic that you cant address this on line in this day and age. Cancelled my app.

If you get a card for you and your wife, do you get 2 bags or just one per account

EDIT
FREE FIRST CHECKED BAG

for the primary cardmember and up to 3 companions on JetBlue-operated flights when you use your JetBlue Plus Card2

You must enter the 5-digit Promotional Code located on the inflight application form in order to apply for this offer. If you do not have a code, please call an inflight Crewmember for assistance.

Whats the promo code?

According to the OP: "Enter any random 5 digits in the promo box in the top right corner."

You can always make 2 flight reservations - one for yourself and one for wife. Then you'll both get a free checked bag. If you book at the same time, shouldn't be any problem with flight availability or pricing.

Do their points expire? Any disadvantages on canceling the card after getting the bonus?

I better not catch you with a Costco membership (or any membership)

Not taking advantage of perks that are worth more than what you pay is moronic.

Points don't expire. And after 1 year you can downgrade your card to a free version of Jetblue visa card (as an option)

I am already at -$600 on JetBlue from the flight they cancelled for no reason the night before the flight and couldn't put me on another flight until 2 days later. I had to buy a last minute ticket on another airline.

There is a reason why JetBlue was ranked by the Wall Street Journal as the worst airline, even lower than Spirit and Frontier. They have the most cancelled and delayed flights of any of the airlines.

I've had good experiences in the past with JetBlue.
This is an excellent offer. They offered 100,000 miles in the past but required a 6k spend and annual fee was not waived. Thanks OP.
