The fee is pretty reasonable because you also get 5000 miles each year when you pay it. That's worth about $70 in flights. So right there, that brings true cost down to only $30. And the free bags really add up, especially if you fly with your family as up to 4 people get free bags. (Side note, it only applies if the primary cardholder is also flying. My wife and kids took a weekend trip without me, and they had to pay for bags. Was a bit miffed).
