any idea how long they stay sharp? I.e. how often during a full hog butcher will they need to be sharpened?

The Bearded Butchers just used this knife in a recent YouTube video. I suggest you watch the video for their comments on the size, shape, feel, and durability of the knife. In short... Don't get this one.

Thanks. Figured it's a "you get what you pay" deal. Liked the idea of the front and back hand "stop" (esp. important when dealing with a lard hog breed), but don't expect that blade to be lasting in sharpness or durability.
