This is super cheap insurance, its a pain in the @$$ to make a trip to the parts store for 1 fuse that will end up costing you $6 for a box of 4.

do not buy cheap fuse.

fuse is designed to fail in order to protect your wires.

cheap fuse will only fail long pass it's listed specs.

cheap fuse will lead to melting bundle of wires, which leads to electrical short then fire.

only good fuse will fail at the right time, not before and not after.

only buy fuse from companies like:
Bussmann Fuse

Thanks for the tip I'll check that out. After I jumpstart, I'll drive like 10-15 min to a store. And then when I'm back to the truck I can start again no problem and get back home. Then without charging with trickle charger, usually the next day it'll start up again, but if it sits beyond 48 hrs it won't start.

I just find it interesting that the head unit doesn't work at all after I jump start and truck is running. It seems like that is the issue. I'm wondering if I should pull that radio 20A fuse and keep it out and see if I still have issues.
A car I had a long time ago the sensor switch for the trunk went bad. The little light would stay on in the trunk when you closed it. Same crap was going on, it wouldn't start if it sat for a few days but was otherwise good.
Does your hood have a light in it? Maybe try unscrewing it and see if it drains down again.

Do the parasitic leech search as described, but sounds like it's bad wiring in your head unit causing it. Is it factory or aftermarket?

Also, toss a fire extinguisher behind your seat until you get the issue sorted

It's a factory unit, never been modified. My battery is almost fully charged from trickle charger so I'll look at doing that test and hopefully get some answers. May pull the radio 20 A fuse and see if that helps too in case that's the problem. I should do a quick alternator test too and rule that out.

Pretty much every auto parts store will check your battery and alternator for free. Takes like 5 minutes

If it was alternator, your truck would die (or the battery would drop significantly) while you're driving it. Dying while parked is almost always a parasitic leech (bad wiring, usb charger, bad sensor, trunk or plate lights that don't shut off...)

In what world would you need 250 fuses? I got the 100 piece for my RV, thanks OP.
Who would need 2A, 3A, 5A, 7.5A fuses? I've never seen anything but 10A, 15A, 20A, 30A in my car fuse boxes.

i have plenty of these types of fuses laying around, but i recently had to replace a fuse in my 2019 silverado and it was an mcase one and no autoparts store even carried them.

most vehicles even come with a couple of fuses inside the fuse case so i wouldn't even bother with ones like these tbh.

My vehicles take mini so I am getting 11 of this size, but not all fuses are the needed values. Bottom line is I am paying $7.79 for less than 11 fuses I can actually use.

Any time I go to junkyard I pulled 'em out as much as I want and need for free.

Never blew out a fuse in my car, but I did blow out the fuse in my HVAC unit when swapping out a smart thermostat. The cost for 3 we're half the price of 100 here. I doubt I would need another fuse though.
