Chevron 65740-CASE Techron Concentrate Plus Fuel System Cleaner [amazon.com] - 20 oz
I prefer to buy 20 oz instead of 12 oz bottles since I can fill the tank instead of a partial fill up.
Techron Concentrate Plus Fuel System Cleaner

But now there are like four different kinds of products with the techron brand name. Which is most like the original techron that cleans the combustion chamber? Is this it?
I've been using Techron for my turbo gas direct injection (T-GDI) because the owner's manual recommends using it to compensate for build up. But it's been a while since purchasing, back when I stocked up, to where I'm now down to 2 bottles but I'm confused between the different techrons available for re-ordering. The type of techron that my car's manual calls for is the kind that cleans the combustion chamber. Can someone confirm this is the original-style of techron?
I just received another 6pk order from Amazon the other day... it was $52.44ea... So the price has increased a little.
The 2 different products that im aware of is the Fuel Injector Cleaner and the Total Fuel System Cleaner. Of course they have other variants such as Diesel, Marine, High Mileage, etc etc...
For GDI engines and the valve carbon buildup, there are products specifically made to be sprayed into the intake. I use CRC GDI Intake Valve Cleaner before every oil change.
