Chevron 65740-CASE Techron Concentrate Plus Fuel System Cleaner [amazon.com] - 20 oz

I prefer to buy 20 oz instead of 12 oz bottles since I can fill the tank instead of a partial fill up.

Techron Concentrate Plus Fuel System Cleaner
12 oz. (treats up to 12 gal. of fuel)
20 oz. (treats up to 20 gal. of fuel)

What is the shelf life for these? Is there an expiration?

How this compares to Red Line Sl-1? How much PEA difference between the two?

Years ago it was just "techron" without any confusion.

But now there are like four different kinds of products with the techron brand name. Which is most like the original techron that cleans the combustion chamber? Is this it?

I've been using Techron for my turbo gas direct injection (T-GDI) because the owner's manual recommends using it to compensate for build up. But it's been a while since purchasing, back when I stocked up, to where I'm now down to 2 bottles but I'm confused between the different techrons available for re-ordering. The type of techron that my car's manual calls for is the kind that cleans the combustion chamber. Can someone confirm this is the original-style of techron?

I buy the 20oz bottles since i learned of them on this site.

I just received another 6pk order from Amazon the other day... it was $52.44ea... So the price has increased a little.

The 2 different products that im aware of is the Fuel Injector Cleaner and the Total Fuel System Cleaner. Of course they have other variants such as Diesel, Marine, High Mileage, etc etc...

For GDI engines and the valve carbon buildup, there are products specifically made to be sprayed into the intake. I use CRC GDI Intake Valve Cleaner before every oil change.

Do I really need this if I buy a Top Tier™ performance standard gas?

Lol some car people will blame all your problems on "cheap or discount gasoline". Which is funny because every gas station I've ever been to has all sorts of advertising stating that they use this and that detergents and they are the best fuel on the market.🤷 ♂️

Bad deal, these have been b1g1 free for $14 at autozone almost every other month for the last year. I've bought them like 3 times in the last year on the same deal.

Those are the 12 oz bottles. OP is referencing a 6 pack of the 20 oz. This is a slightly better deal than the AutoZone BOGO or the current NAPA $5.49 for 12 oz

It's still $52 with S&S
