Wrong, if you game for money to play with whatever shit your sponsors tell you to play with.
I love how you have the "Pro" badge next to your name, but you're a noob who doesn't know to try different things to get the correct price to show up.
If you play gaming for money, you get this headset.
If you play gaming for fun, you get another headset.

Most fps "pros" use hyperx or logitech and most of their headsets are mediocre at best when it comes to imaging and soundstage. Their sponsors pay them a lot of $$ to use them. Audio quality, although important, is far less important than other peripherals (like a solid mouse and high refresh monitor) and raw talent/skills. Most pros will still obliterate a casual player with a $10 pair of apple earpods. Just wear whatever you feel is comfortable and make sense to your ears.

Was going to purchase this but then I saw that they are releasing JBL Quantum 910 [youtube.com] supposedly this month. It's pretty much the same but wireless.

This is an amazing deal though for those who don't care for wireless.
Will wait for wireless. Thanks.

Anyone use these to WFH? I need a headset to reduce dogs barking at the mailman and kids blasting cocomelon while I'm in a meeting
Nah, these won't reduce that. You should be looking for a deal on shock collars.

then get some Sony's with ANC or soundcore q30's, these have VERY weak and,.. you can get mic mods/extensions for many normal anc headphones.

Try RTX Voice if you have a GTX or RTX GPU.

I have these and really like them. The noise canceling is great. I have 2 fish tanks in the room with my computer and they are loud. I put these on and nothing. They sound really good and at this price are a steal.

I brought mine at T.J Maxx for $99 earlier this year. They are decent, however, the software sucks and needs to be updated.

i have these and i'd say they are pretty good if it's a gift for someone. i used them quite extensively for the first 6 months (1000+ hours) and they got the job done. i ended up getting a schiit amp and senn dac and started using audiophile headphones and haven't went back. i do commend the nice bass response for these, though when listening to bass heavy music super loud they do distort.

the difference between these and the lower tier ones (quantum 700 and below) i believe is the 3d audio where it tracks your head movement. super gimmicky but fun to play with.

if i didn't plan to get into audiophile territory (amp, dac, external mic) i'm sure i would have kept switching between these and my astros for gaming daily drivers.

This headset is incredible. I own turtle beach pro and Astro A40 with mix amp. These JBL's blow the others away even old ass games like Overwatch are new again because of the quantum spatial 7.1 I'm destroying because I'm 5 steps ahead of invisible or hidden enemy's. Music on prime or on any device since these work on any device is like a live concert. Headphones are just one of those things you must try and use to know it. When these go back on sale for 200 or less it's worth it. So many features like the red light on the mic boom for mute when it's on, clear voice sound from the mic and when hearing others it's like they are next to you. When there go on sale again try em I can pretty much bet you toss your other set. I'm taking my turtle beach pro's to my GFs house 🏡 because I don't need them!
