My 8-year old has been using a pair each of these at school and home for over a year, still no problems, and he's hard on items like this. For $10, they're pretty durable.

I get that this is "only $10" but you can buy Koss headphones, like the KSC75 for $13 from maxwarehouse, though shipping makes it too expensive. Feel free to waste $10 on mediocre cans, but you can get far better sound for $5 to $10 more in many other headphones.

Bc the 99cenr store one will break the min you try to uae them. Theses will possible last year's. I needed a set so I gave99 cent a try for laughs. And it was that bad lasted all of 2 days.
