This is a good price. Thanks OP.

For those who are trying to buy. Price shows as $11.99 which is still a good deal. There is a code that auto applies at check out for 10% off dropping it to OP's price. Under price it shows the offer which after clicking it reveals the code "GARAGEMAN10" and eligible items.

The real question is, has this really been shown to actually be useful in any way? Do car manufacturers actually recommend using this?

Good question. I've used it in a couple different heavily sludged cars I was working on. A 3.0 liter audi A4 and a Toyota 3.4 liter 4 runner and after running this through, changing the oil, and then taking the valve cover off, the sludge as all but gone completely from both engines. It does what it says.

How old are these cars and how often do you change your oil?

I don't think I have ever been able to actually visibly "see" sludge in any cars I have owned in the last 20 years.

1997 4 Runner my son bought that had 296k on it. He was replacing valve cover gaskets and spark plugs and when he pulled the valve covers off, it was sludgy. Thick goop.

The car was a 2004 or 5 I think Audi that I bought locally to flip and it had a bad headgasket that allowed coolant into one of the cylinders. It was also sludgy as well, especially on the underside of the valve covers. I think it had around 176k on it. Ended up selling it to someone who lives a few miles from me and their kid drove it for 4 years in high school and then sold it. It was still running strongly when they sold it.

Don't know the back history on either of these cars as we were not the original owners and they were pretty old.
