Finally got after 5th try. Rep asked to order for 1 se and 1 7. He said refund for price difference will come in 48 hrs through email. How much time it took for others.

Look up my posts. I posted about how I called, gave explicit instructions, and was able to get the deal at both Red Dot and Shop My Exchange.

Why are people so averse to actually dialing a number and speaking to a human? Everyone seems to want to do everything by chat.

Got PM with BB on SE 2nd gen 40mm. Purchased online at full price and received a credit refund while chatting with the agent. Going to pick it up later today at local shop. Target was not cooperating on 2 tries.

I just got this to work through BB chat. I just sent them a link to their page saying I wanted to buy at Staples price, sent the link to the staples ad. Rep was gone for a few minutes then came back saying it was approved.

Only weirdness I experienced was the invoice price was set at $289 instead of $279. Rep said the price would be adjusted after I paid the invoice. Not sure why that was necessary but I screenshotted the chat. My BB receipt shows the price adjustment so not sure if I'll be able to swap the Starlight for the midnight color I really want.

Only thing before my chat was to place the watch that they have in my local store in the cart and initiated the chat. Gold SE 2nd gen. Once chat started, we went through the usual steps, name, email, competitor offer, give me a minute to check this for you, and I was advised to complete the order for what I have in the cart. Once I got confirmation number for the order, shared it with agent and was issued refund on same payment method I used. I get app notifications whenever there are some transactions on the credit card. Easy peasy...

Got both watches.

what worked for me was to not send the weekly-ad link instead I asked them to goto staples.com -> deals(red banner at top) -> weekly ad ->page 8 (as someone suggested earlier)
