Damn, there's a lot of hate for meat-alternative products in this thread. Yeah, it's more expensive, and doesn't taste exactly like meat. Generally, I do like eating real beef and chicken, but sometimes, I just want something with less cholesterol and less environmental impact than beef. Might not be the healthiest, especially on the sodium side, but it's still better than its meat counterpart. That's why I don't mind eating it once in a while.
Have you actually tried the beyond orange chicken at panda express? I thought it was quite good.
It's not supposed to be a healthy alternative. It's for people who just don't/can't eat meat. So probably not for you.

Sorry to interrupt the real tough individuals exclaiming the obvious horrors of meat alternatives, but I didn't see a place to input the coupon code. Do I need to make an account?

I tried making an account and also forgot password for my email in case I made one already and forgot but they haven't emailed me (10 minutes later, checked spam)

Don't know why it's being called "Plant Meat"? There's no such thingLMAO
The inside or nuts and seeds is commonly referred to as meat. There are multiple definitions, some as specific as being derived from an animal, some as vague as the edible part of anything. It can definitely be called plant meat. Just because you can't accept it doesn't mean it's wrong.

Anyone else's Panda constantly out of Chow Mein?

They're always out and then just give me greens and an extra orange chicken. I'm not asking for it they just give it to me.

Agreed. The beyond product isn't great plain, but here with the breading and orange taste plus crispy…I enjoyed it a lot.

fake meat is like decaf coffee. No one will WANT to consume it. A very small quantify of people will do so because they "have to" and companies will keep offering it because some tree huger will call them out on social media if they do not

You're falling for the marketing.

Chicken is not a high cholesterol food. Dietary cholesterol is not the same as blood cholesterol. You reduce blood cholesterol by exercising and not being fat. Even if it was an issue, there is barely any cholesterol in orange chicken.

On the other hand, there is a significant amount of sodium in beyond orange chicken.

This would be a good deal if they didn't charge more for the beyond meat.

I just tried this item and it was merely okay. It's definitely not chicken, and a bit tough/firm in texture. Not great but but not what I'd call bad. I won't order it again.

I think you are 100% wrong... but then again SD people are like supreme gods at everything.. so who knows.

There is a lot of cholesterol in poultry items.. eggs.. meat.. all that. Look it up, or just be a supreme SD god and say what you want. Applause

* This dude spoutin' sodium content on poultry items.. love that! Applause
