Glad to see it's back. I did it one of the years when they allowed take-out orders and a free soda. That was awesome. I also did it in 2019 (last time they did it?). They stopped doing it for a few years because of the pandemic I think. Likely it will be dine-in only like the previous years.

I never really understood why this was that great of a deal. You pay $100 upfront for a pasta pass and then can eat unlimited pasta at Olive Garden every day for a couple of months. In previous years when what you were getting cost $10, you'd have to go multiple times a week for those 2 months in order to just break even. And if you wanted something beyond a basic noodle with sauce, you'd have to pay an upcharge.
I could see this working out for some people. For example, if you eat out with your coworkers each day and all of you get the pass and go to Olive Garden 3 times a week, maybe this could be a good deal. But who wants to eat spaghetti and red sauce from Olive Garden 3 times per week?

What is pasta pass
You pay an upfront fee, previously $100 and were allowed to get Olive Garden's unlimited pasta entree for free for 7 weeks. The unlimited pasta entree generally includes pretty simple dishes (e.g. fettucine with alfredo, spaghetti with meat sauce) and not things like spaghetti and meatballs or fettucine with alfredo and chicken.
Well, pasta and sauce is only slightly more expensive, so I would guess the price will be slightly higher. More importantly, you'll probably wait longer for a table and have poorer service with staffing shortages.
If it is like previous years you get a free plate of pasta each day (free refills too) for 8 weeks. You can pick the pasta type, sauce, and meat. Oh and you got free breadsticks too. Rules could be different this year. I think the previous years it was around $100 or so for the pass. Very likely it will be dine-in only and will probably sell out quickly. It's a great deal, but I did get a little burnt out after awhile. Probably need to factor in a tip in the cost per visit too.
Update: You got free salad or soup too, based on last time.
