I am parenting a toddler all over again and took my just turned 2 year old for the first time. Most of the games are geared towards really little kids now compared to 10-15 years ago. He loved it though. I'll get the (50% off $11) $5 salad bar and share with him. Maybe we'll splurge on the $1.75 fries. Don't worry son, Mommy will spend the extra 200+ tokens you don't use each visit on the coin pusher and we'll get every crappy toy you want.
We don't always have good weather where I live, so I'm looking forward to being able to take him anytime. Also looking forward to not spending more than the initial cost. Last month I spent over $80 on three kids for one trip.
So it can be a "fall fun pass" as well if you want to wait to purchase it so your kids don't spend their summers I side at CEC instead of outside.
This may be a good after school activity in the fall months instead.

I've gone on multiple occasions with my kids and even once or twice just with my wife when they used to have reasonable play all day. I honestly can't believe these places are still in business for what they charge and what you get from the experience.
That said, this price is amazing when you compare it to their current pricing and promotional model. If you live close enough and can stand going a few times a week over the summer you can hopefully stave off having to take your kids for the rest of the year at prices that would normally cost you this for a single visit
50% off = $21
but no idea how many are in it

We have tens of thousands of tickets left on our cards and old ticket receipts. These were mostly earned by my wife and I enjoying the all you call play deals once or twice pre COVID.
Like most of these places the reception values sucks but, at least at our CEC the prizes are just crap.
It would appear to me that the local management literally goes to local retailers and buys clearance toys. I say this because I have often scoured those shelves as well and would see many of the same items up for redemption at CEC.
I still have a few hundred points on cards and we take out kids every so often to play for 30 minutes or so. I usually let them pick a prize when we leave even if they didn't earn much because we have so many tickets left over. There is literally nothing that ever makes sense to redeem I won't let them trade in 50k Tix for a toy I know can be purchased for $20, that makes no sense in almost any reality, especially when it.isnt something they really want, but rather just what is there.
I've let them trade in like.5-10k on some smaller things like a SpongeBob lego (ripoff) set. Still weren't great values, but you gotta use them on something.
So yeah, joke or not you can probably play these cards all summer and maybe get $40 worth of crappy clearance items Maybe other CEC do it differently and certainly getting something with your tix is better than nothing, but it really isn't worth the money or time playing ticket games unless you just really enjoy it (coincidentally my wife does enjoy playing the SpongeBob coin game...it's therapeutic in a way).
