These are the exact kind of thing you buy and store away. Five years down the road you'll have a strange issue in a project and find this tucked away in a drawer, perfect tool for the job.

More like six months from now, I will need some putty knives, forget I bought these, go to home depot to pick some up and then use them for whatever, and then when I put them away... I will find the exact same set I bought six months ago and forgot about.
Would this be good to scrap off things on a 3d printing bed? Mine was made out of metal and rusted like mad.
Hold to tell from the photo if it's really thin like me original one
I think these would work well for that, I picked these up a few months ago, and they are almost as sharp as metal razers... and once the edge of one of them dulls, flip it to use the other side and when the second side dulls toss it and replace. These last for a bit unless abused, the 100 pieces should last forever...
Don't know if these putty knives are nearly as sharp, but they for sure wouldn't last too long either way.
I use PLYLOX clips to secure my hurricane shutters. When I install the clips I put these putty knives under the teeth of the PLYLOX so that it goes in easy and doesn't damage the brick edges. When I remove the shutters, I put these under the teeth and they slide out easily. If you use PLYLOX, keep some of these knives around.
